My wife had two very different shopping experiences today, one good, one bad!
She was looking for a particular card game for my son's birthday and went into a well established shop to ask for it. The assistant wasn't sure and waved her vaguely in the direction of a million shelves and said 'you might find it over there'. (she didn't and she wasn't impressed!)
She then went into Woods the Stationers (at the bottom of Milsom street next to starbucks) who are one of the oldest shops in Bath with the vague possibility she might find the card game there (although they specialise in pens, stationery, not games!) and the staff were not only responsive friendly and helpful but they actually had what she was looking for as well so they got the business, which surely is what they deserved!
