BestofBeaconsfield Showcase at the Bellhouse Hotel picks a winner!

First of all, let me thank everyone who turned up on the evening of Thursday 19th May at The Bellhouse Hotel for our latest showcase networking event. It was such a pleasure to welcome you all. After some lovely refreshments and a networking natter we moved into the lovely Cavendish Suite at the Bellhouse Hotel for our presentations.

Yvette Buckingham, Sales & Marketing for the Bellhouse Hotel kicked the show off well with a very efficient and concise presentation demonstrating the extensive and highly desirable conferencing facilities at The Bellhouse. Having a full range of different sized suites; the accomodation available is perfect for any size conference, event, wedding or ball.

Next up we welcolmed Neil McLaren from Adventure 001! He wowed us with  exciting quad biking, clayl pidgeon shooting, team building adventures and even helicopter flights among other exciting possibilities! Neil brought the lovely Cleo Collins from Hillmotts Luxury Spa and Fitness Retreat with him and she tantalised us with descriptions of hot stone massages, luxury beauty treatments and fitness and weight loss classes and retreats. To top everything off we had Kate Parker from The Chocolate Source demonstrating one of her team building with Chocolate Workshops for us. This was a fun filled, hands on demonstration where each one of us was given a block of chocolate and several means of decoration. After demonstrations of different techniques we were allowed free reign for our most creative instincts. Given a set time to complete our masterpieces in time for the judging, we all competed for the bottle of champagne put up as a prize for the winner. The competition was judged independently by Tony Silver of the Silver Hub - thank you Tony! The winner of this illustrious competition was none other than our own bestof member Jerry Hughes owner of one of the best businesses in town The Oven Man. Jerry (pictured) won the competition with his lovely 'butterfly designer chocolate slab' (pictured below) which he kindly donated to me to eat! Needless to say I was up to the task. I'll take pleasure in presenting him with his prize of a bottle of champagne at our next bestof showcase networking event at Woodcraft Flooring, Aylesbury End,Beaconsfield on the 23rd June 2011 5.30pm till 7.30pm.
