Lorna, Home Instead’s first Caregiver to complete the advanced Alzheimer’s Training course was presented with her certificate recently at their South Bucks office. The training programme was devised specifically for Home Instead Caregivers in partnership with The George C Glenner Alzheimer Family Centre in California USA. The special training Programme provides Caregivers with a collection of skills and techniques for dealing specifically with clients with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia, including:

This demonstrates her dedication to providing outstanding service to Home Instead clients who suffer from this condition” Lorna was thrilled to be the first to complete the special course and she said, “When I was asked if I would be happy to take the Alzheimer's Training course I thought that it would be a good opportunity to learn lots more about all aspects of Alzheimer's and dementia.
