I have been asked to pass on an invitation to you, as residents of Beaconsfield, from your local Zizzi in Aylesbury End. Zizzi invite you, as friends and family, to come and celebrate their re-opening this Saturday night, 13th November 2010. An evening of FREE Italian food!! Please call 01494 680 225 if you would like to take them up on this exciting invitation! RSVP as soon as possible.
Zizzi Beaconsfield is a lovely old historic building, situated in the old town at 41, Aylesbury End, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, HP9 1LU. It is opening with a new look at 6pm this Saturday evening, 13th November and as part of the celebrations there will be an evening of free Italian food hosted by Helen Jones – Managing Director of Zizzi – who lives in the local area.
The lucky diners who call 01494 680 225 in response to this fabulous invitation will get a sneak preview of the exciting new interior which has been inspired by the history of Beaconsfield. Inspiration has been drawn from themes based on the famous author Enid Blyton, who lived in the area, and our wonderful Bekonscot Model Village & Railway which celebrated it’s 81st anniversary this year (and is keeping it’s gift shop open until Christmas this year to allow festive gift shopping for the first time ever!).
As part of the Zizzi fresh talent programme they are working with a new artist, Cat Sims, who has created an elaborately beautiful wall mural which, amongst other things, pays tribute to Enid Blyton the famous Beaconsfield author! Cat Sims currently works as a freelancer and as part of the expanding fresh talent team at Zizzi. Cat graduated from London College of Communications with a degree in Graphic Design.
Another of the themes in the restaurant stems from Bekonscot Model Village, promoting a sense of fun and childlike enthusiasm. This shines through with a unique toy sculpture which can be seen on the walls. Created from hundreds of reclaimed plastic toys, this sculpture has been camouflaged into the wall so at first glance it may be difficult to tell what it is. However, stare at it a little longer and see if YOU can spot YOUR favourite childhood toy in the mix!
Beaconsfield Zizzi have a lovely historic building in the heart of the old town. The refurbishment has transformed the restaurant into a mixture of intimate spaces and larger dining areas. They have drawn on some fabulous themes of the area as the aim was to create a local community restaurant where the people of Beaconsfield will feel perfectly at home.
Beaconsfield Zizzi has its very own well at the centre of the restaurant, a beautiful feature of this historic listed building. The well has been made more exciting by way of the addition of a new fun feature. Be sure to take a look, stand over the well and see what it is!
Other features to note, the tribute to the buildings previous history as a pub and the printed wallpaper in the bathrooms.
All in all a wonderful evening of celebration and discovery is being offered FREE of charge to the residents of Beaconsfield, all of whom Zizzi class as friends and family!
