Half Term with the Children

I don't know about you, but I am always taken a bit by surprise by the school holidays. (well all apart from the summer holidays which I look forward to from just after Christmas!)

Anyway I am planning on being more prepared for this half term holiday. The dentist's, optician's and hair appointments are booked, so now for the fun stuff.

My top ideas for the holiday (in no particular order):

For good weather

Thurleigh Farm's Teddy Bears Picnic and Woodland Tales
Wild Britain pond dipping and rabbit ranch
RSPB Sandy MiniBeast Safari
The Jubilee Play Area at The Shuttleworth Collection
Summerfield Railway, Haynes

For bad weather

Swimming at Robinson, Kempston or the Oasis pools
Cineworld cinema
Local libraries
The Gruffalo at the Corn Exchange

And for me

The Bedfordshire Craft and Food Fair.

The week will fly by!
