Summerfield Railway, Haynes

The Summerfields Railway has been built by the Bedford Model Engineering Society as a place for members to run their locos. It is actually three railways all linked together, Summerfields, Winterfield and Springfield. On certain days of the year we open our railway to the public so that you can come along and see what we do. For a small fare you can take a trip on our steam or diesel service around any of our three railways. We also try to have a half scale steam bus at our open days giving rides, this was built by one of our members. Its all great fun for kids and adults seem to love it too!
