The first of a series of FREE clinics, business support and networking events being offered at Blick studios for companies working within the creative industries and funded by Belfast City Council and The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment Building Sustainable Prosperity programme.
This half day event will focus on Intellectual Property.
Protecting your business, your technology, brand and/or business name. Many businesses are more vulnerable than they realise, especially if they are moving into new international markets. Or perhaps there are avenues to increase your profitability by using what makes you unique.
This event addresses both of these issues, by helping you to answer the following questions:
* Is my business at risk because of unprotected intellectual property, particularly in foreign markets?
* Is there any way that I can increase the profitability of my business by using my Intellectual Property better?
The event is in two parts –
A half day clinic facilitated by leading Intellectual Property experts. The clinic will begin with short presentations and interactive Q&A sessions with each of the experts. This will be followed by individual one on one sessions with the clinics participants, to give them the opportunity to glean the specific information required to answer these questions for their businesses. Networking opportunities will be available throughout and following the event.
9.30 am – 10.00am registration and buffet breakfast
11.00 – 11.30am presentations
11.30 am – 12.30pm Individual appointments with experts
A networking session will follow from 1-2pm with speakers from the local industry to be announced.
