To kick off the festive season, the Christmas lights were switched on at Belfast City Hall on Saturday 20 November. There is tons of stuff to do at this time of year. Plenty of shopping in Belfast City Centre and seasonal markets with a different experience to offer - plus loads of good stuff to eat and drink!
Northern Ireland is now home to many Christmas markets. The crowd-pleasing Christmas Continental Market at the City Hall in Belfast runs from 20 November until 19 December. On the weekend of 4-5 December, St George’s Market holds its Christmas Fair, with gourmet foods and festive crafts.
With lots of delicious food and drink on offer it's nice to take a walk around the different markets and you can pick up a gift if you're in the mood to do a bit of shopping as well.
The Best of Belfast team would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!
