The entire team from ‘Perfect 32’, a leading NHS and private dental practice on Ladygate in Beverley, attended a special presentation lunch at the five-star Burton Mount Country House, in Cherry Burton, on Thursday 17th June to celebrate their achievements in obtaining nationally recognized qualifications, including full management Level 3 and 4 certificates to two staff members.
Guest of Honour, Lyn Oliver, Business Manager for the North East and Yorkshire regions of The Institute of Leadership and Management, presented the certificates to 10 members of staff, including the ‘Student of the Year’ award sponsored by training providers Educom Business Development to Christine Ferguson (practice administrator) who achieved a full Level 4 Management qualification in addition to subject certificates.
Lyn stated that “Perfect 32 is to be congratulated on their commitment to developing their staff in their leadership and management skills. Such professional development is an essential component in helping the business to grow and prosper”.
Ann Gresty, Sales Director of Educom, acknowledged the high level of support provided by Calderdale College via the Enhancement Fund. Contracting Officers, Sarah Hill and Sharon Hoggarth, representing Calderdale College at the presentation lunch said “It is fantastic to see the benefits accruing to a small business like Perfect 32 as a result of the funding intervention”.
Perfect 32 Practice Manager, Nicki Rowland, said “We believe that training is vital to personal and professional development and this is why we made the decision to close the practice on a regular basis for training. As a team we are delighted to have achieved these qualifications and I congratulate everyone”.
The presentation demonstrates the 4-way partnership between the funders, a local company wishing to develop its staff thereby offering a first class service to patients, ILM to set and monitor standards and a dedicated training provider in bringing benefits to each organisation.
