Beverley businesses were given "Lots of Love" by local people during the "14 Days of Love" campaign, which was run by "thebestof"
People completed testimonial cards for various businesses in and around the town, expressing their "love" for those businesses that have excelled.
Businesses that received huge accolades include; The Barn House at Walkington, who actually came 3rd nationally as the most loved Bed and Breakfast/Guest House. A large number of the testimonials highlighting the cafe, with not only the quality of the food, but also the outstanding and friendly service, lots of mentiones for the excellent coffee and delicious scones!
Other businesses that did very well on the "Love" scale were; the Siam Lion Thai Restaurant, Khans Indian Restaurant and De Lacy Spa, who recently moved into Saturday Market, and introduced their fish spa, which received lots of great comments.
