Christine Ferguson from Perfect 32, an NHS and private dental practice in Beverley, has been named Student of the Year by Educom Business Development, a training provider for The Institute of Leadership and Management.
Christine was also a finalist for Receptionist of the Year at the highly acclaimed Dental Awards in London in both 2009 and 2010.
The Practice Administrator was given her award at a special presentation lunch at the five-star Burton Mount Country House, in Cherry Burton, on Thursday, June 17. Christine, who has recently gained a full NVQ Level 4 management qualification, joined the entire team from Perfect 32 on Ladygate, to celebrate their achievements in obtaining nationally recognised qualifications in leadership and management.
Guest of Honour, Lyn Oliver, business manager for the North East and Yorkshire regions of The Institute of Leadership and Management, presented Christine with her Student of the Year award, which was sponsored by training providers Educom Business Development, as well as qualification certificates to Christine and her ten colleagues.
Perfect 32 Practice Manager, Nicki Rowland, said: “Christine totally deserves this special award, which recognises her commitment and hard work - she is a credit to our team.
“We believe that training is vital to personal and professional development and this is why we made the decision to close the practice on a regular basis for training. As a team we are delighted to have achieved these qualifications and I congratulate everyone.”
Lyn Oliver added: “Perfect 32 is to be congratulated on their commitment to developing their staff in their leadership and management skills. Such professional development is an essential component in helping the business to grow and prosper.”
