This year is the centenary of the death of Florence Nightingale who had a close link to Claydon House in Middle Claydon just a few miles from Bicester.
Letters that were written by Florence will be on display at Claydon House until October this year.
The link to Claydon House comes from the marriage of Florences' sister to Sir Harry Verney whose family own the house. She visited regularly, for months at a time.
