The funding has enabled BBJ&K, who were previously based in a leased office space, to purchase a 2,500 sq. ft. four-storey building featuring neon signs a dedicated canteen area and meeting room spaces.

In addition, the new site will house the agency’s 24 employees and will be a base for clients to visit the company.

The funding from HSBC UK will also further support the company’s growth as they look to hire four new members of staff, including a content creator to support the company with internal marketing and new business opportunities.

Established in 2016, BBJ&K works with UK and international clients, including Transport for West Midlands and West Midlands Combined Authority, supporting media planning, buying and execution.

Emma Baxter, co-founder at BBJ&K, said: “Our new headquarters is a significant milestone in our growth plan as we establish our presence in the West Midlands.

“Employee wellbeing is a cornerstone of our business, and with the support of HSBC UK, we are excited to move into a new office where we can create a more functional working environment, supporting the development of our team and the growth our business.”

Steven Eames, relationship manager at HSBC UK said: “BBJ&K is an award-winning business in the Midlands, and it has been a pleasure supporting the company with the opening of the new headquarters as the team continues on its growth journey.”

BBJ&K was recently named in the 2024 Sunday Times Best Places to Work.
