With all proceeds going towards the charity’s vital pre-hospital emergency service, the ninth annual Golf Day raised more than £47,800, the most raised for this event so far. The fundraising total has helped fund 32 lifesaving missions carried out by the charity’s advanced clinical team, 15 by air ambulance and 17 by critical care car.

Pam Hodgetts, corporate partnerships manager at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. said: “Thank you to all that took part on what was, despite the challenging weather, a fantastic day. The incredible amount raised will make a significant difference to our pre-hospital emergency service, funding future missions across the six counties we cover.

“A special thanks goes to our main event sponsors, Phoenix Group, for providing us with the opportunity to put on the event again and for their continual support. We would also like to thank our other event sponsors at WDPS Stoke Ltd, Zeno Construction, Brookbanks, Porsche Centre Wolverhampton and Hardy Signs as well as our other sponsors for making the event a huge success.”

Due to the popularity of the charity’s annual Corporate Golf Day, which takes place in May each year, organisations can register their interest now for the 2025 event by contacting  Jon.cottrell@ Midlandsairambulance.com  for more information.
