Cadbury World has once again been awarded gold for Visitor Attraction Excellence at VisitEngland’s annual awards.
Of all the 26 attractions recognised across the country, Cadbury World is the only tourist attraction from across the West Midlands to receive the prestigious gold standard recognition from VisitEngland.
Designed to celebrate excellence within the tourist attraction sector, VisitEngland assesses all aspects of the visitor experience including arrival, what’s on offer inside the venue, appearance and presentation, cleanliness, toilets, catering, retail and staff. The Gold Accolade is only awarded to those attractions that offer the very best overall visitor experience.
The Bournville-based attraction received its highest scores to-date in four of the categories - arrival, attraction, toilets and staff. VisitEngland also made a special mention regarding the Cadbury World team, who they described as extremely helpful and enthusiastic in the evaluation.
Gerrard Baldwin, general manager at Cadbury World, said: “We’re delighted to receive VisitEngland’s Gold Accolade at this year’s awards. It’s fantastic that this award recognises the exceptional customer service that our brilliant team provides to visitors every day, as well as everything our chocolatey zones offer to guests.
“After a challenging year, this is a real tribute to all of the team here at Cadbury World, who work incredibly hard to deliver our gold standard experience!”
