Corporate finance partner Andy Kay, director Phoebe Turner and manager Nick Martin advised Your.Cloud on its expansion into the UK through the acquisition of HDUK.
Based in Exeter and with offices in Manchester, HDUK is a leading provider of hosted desktop solutions for the accountancy sector in the UK.
The Crowe team provided transaction support and due diligence for Your.Cloud which is based in Amsterdam with offices also in Dusseldorf and Birmingham.
Andy Kay said: “This acquisition represents the first step for Your.Cloud in the UK and is an important milestone in its journey to become the Number One MSP in Europe.
“With the acquisition of HDUK, Your.Cloud has made a great first entrance into the UK and they are looking to expand their position in the UK and Europe from here, both via further acquisitions and organic growth.
“Established in 2010, HDUK has an impressive and proven track record of servicing its customers, primarily in the accountancy sector, but also in other sectors with a high reliance on safe, yet agile IT service.”
The entire management and leadership team at HDUK is staying on board and is tasked with driving further UK growth.
Mohit Sharma, mergers & acquisitions director at Your.Cloud, said: “It was a pleasure working with Andy, Phoebe and the team at Crowe on this important landmark transaction.
“They provided valuable insight and proactive advice, particularly at Partner and Director level, to enable us to work to a successful conclusion.”
Andy Kay added: “We are delighted to have worked with the management teams of Your.Cloud and HDUK and this is just one of the deals we at Crowe’s Midlands corporate finance team have in the pipeline for 2025.”
