Ryan Sinclair- Delivering his words with a vision through his poetry
West Midlands based poet Ryan Sinclair tackles social issues through his spoken word, touching on relevant subjects such as mental health, classism and unemployment.
Ryan Sinclair, 25 grew up in Birmingham where after experiencing trauma at an early age used his pen and paper to express his distress. Now over 10 years on, Ryan is on a mission to create social change and platforms for those under represented and overlooked. Just recently, Ryan released a 2 part poetry and animation book/ebook entitled ‘A Birmingham Story’ self published via Amazon.
Which two reviewers describing the book as being ‘Inspiring and emotionally educational’ and touching on ‘ real topics of grief, regret and the the feeling that we all ultimately want to feel success and happiness’.
Ryan runs his poetry through his brand called ‘Words in Vision’ which is a mantra based around using his words and writings as a vehicle to a bigger and better vision for society. Ryan regularly performs his poetry across the midlands, along with doing TV work which he was also recently commended for his role in a knife crime play named ‘No Tomorrow’. He will be attending and performing at the multi creative discipline art event called ‘Festival of Audacity’ in central Birmingham between the dates 18-20th July, which is being ran by a community organisation named Beatfreeks.
Keep an eye out, he may be performing at a venue near you in the near future.
