Birmingham-headquartered business transformation experts Curium Solutions have announced two key promotions in their senior leadership team.

Emma Taylor has been formally appointed as executive director on the firm’s operational board, while Nick Brown steps into the role of chief operating officer.

Emma has been with Curium for 12 years, most recently serving as chief people officer.

She said: “Having carried out the role of CPO for a few years now, I am delighted to be formally appointed as Executive Director on the Operational Board at Curium.

“We are blessed to have an amazing group of talent in Team Curium, and having Nick as our COO now too presents a great opportunity for us all to work together to help build the shape of Curium for now and into the future. Exciting times ahead for sure."

Nick’s journey with Curium began in 2011, and after a short time away, he returned in 2021.

The company says his promotion to COO recognises the contribution and value he has brought to our business over 14 years.

Nick said: “I'm absolutely delighted to step into the role of COO at Curium. Having first joined in 2011 for eight years, then returning in 2021 after a brief time away, I’ve seen first-hand the incredible impact we have in driving transformation for our clients.

“I’m excited to work alongside our talented team to build on our success, strengthen our capabilities, and drive further growth.

"This is an exciting time for our business, and I look forward to shaping the next phase of our journey together.”

Curium are business transformation experts based at 55 Colmore Row in Birmingham.

In addition, the firm also has US arm, based in Florida,  as well as a business in Canada, Work Time Reduction, which helps organisations reduce their working hours while maintaining 100 per cent productivity.

Curium are also patrons of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce.

Director and co-founder James Farrow said: “The appointment of a COO alongside CPO represents the ongoing development of our operating board structure.

“Emma and Nick will now work together to specifically outline their distinct responsibilities across the CPO and COO roles, and we hope you will join us in congratulating them on their respective new appointments.

“These appointments mark an exciting chapter for Curium Solutions as we continue to strengthen our leadership team and drive forward our ambitious plans for the future. Congratulations to Emma and Nick!”
