Birmingham-based Hubtel IT is celebrating the success of last month’s Santa Fun Run which they headline sponsored.
SE Fitness Walking & Running Club, who organised the run, presented two local charities, Acacia Family Support and Our Place Support, with a cheque for £2,466 much to the delight of charity representatives, Kate Davarzadeh and Kelly Round.
The money raised will be used to fund welcome packs for people using the charities’ services and will ensure that as many people needing their support can be reached.
Neil Bayliss, director at Hubtel IT, said: “It was a pleasure to sponsor the Santa Fun Run and give a little back to the community.
“Thank you to SE Fitness for organising it, and a special thanks to everyone who took part and made it a sell out.”
Acacia Family Support help families dealing with pre and post-natal depression.
