The Raising Steam 2022 festival is a 4-day alternative and independent festival of music and words, raising funds for, and awareness of, New Futures Nepal. New Futures Nepal is a small charity who make a big difference to the lives of the children and young adults they support in Nepal. Registered charity number 1142984.
It takes place across the 19th to 22nd May, at the Stoke Prior sports and social club in Bromsgrove, B60 4AL. There’s bands such as Attrition and Krankschaft headlining a night apiece; from Berlin, Feline and Strange, and, from Walsall, Walsall’s own Martian Social Club. Additionally, there will be a wide and diverse range of storytellers and poets performing in the Curious House of Stories’ storytelling yurt.
There will also be a steampunk/alternative market, a display and storytelling performance from Hopeless, Maine, yoga, a drumming circle and much more.
Tickets for the whole event are £50, and are available from raisingsteam.bandcamp.com from 1st March.
