Scheduled for Tuesday, 24 September 2024, from 9am to 1pm at The Great Barr Hotel, this fully funded event is designed to equip businesses with the tools and knowledge necessary to enhance employee wellbeing.

As businesses grapple with employee health and wellness challenges, the event will focus on empowering workplace ambassadors within organisations. These ambassadors will be trained to support their colleagues by fostering an environment of mental wellness and resilience. Participants will explore a variety of subjects related to mental health, wellness strategies, and the overall benefits of a healthier workplace.

This event can support attendees in discovering effective strategies that can significantly reduce absenteeism, boost productivity, and elevate morale.

Joel Fearon, local Birchfield Harriers sprinter and Winter Olympic Bronze Medallist, Team GB Bobsleigh, will be attending the launch event.

Joel will share his insights on the importance of mental and physical health in achieving peak performance, as well as how he managed to overcome personal adversity in both sport and his personal life.

This initiative is fully- funded by Birmingham County Council as part of their commitment to fostering healthier workplaces throughout the region.
