Grace Cares, a not-for-profit leader in sustainability for the health and social care sector, has launched a ground-breaking 'Sustainability Guide for Care Managers', supporting their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) journey.
This first-of-its-kind guide is available in either a free taster version, paperback or eBook and arrives as the sector prepares for new regulatory criteria in 2025, which will focus on environmental and sustainability practices in care.
The guide was unveiled with the help of a barbershop quartet at The Care Show at the NEC, Birmingham this month.
Grace Cares hosted the inaugural Sustainability Zone, showcasing innovative resources for the sector, including a collaboration with Veolia UK to highlight waste management in care.
The launch drew strong interest from care providers, industry leaders, and environmental advocates alike.
Grace Cares' sustainability guide provides practical tools and strategies to help care managers meet the upcoming regulatory demands and boost their sustainability initiatives.
Hannah Montgomery, co-founder of Grace Cares, said: “Covering key topics such as energy efficiency, waste management, ethical sourcing, and community engagement, the guide offers a clear roadmap for embedding ESG principles into day-to-day care operations.
“With new criteria for inspections arriving in 2025, the guide is a timely and essential resource for care providers looking to align with best practices.”
