Award winning poet, playwright, singer-songwriter and author, Brendan Hawthorne will be turning his hand to compèring the Author Events at this year’s Stafford Litfest. Brendan is widely published in his own right and has held several writing residencies throughout his career to date.
Brendan says,
“Having been born in South Staffs in 1961 I am deeply honoured to be part of this year’s Stafford Litfest both as a compère and performer.”
Linking performers at the Author Reading events between 12.30 and 2.30 on Saturday, Brendan will share some of his own work taken from the recently published ‘Seventies Child and Other Fashion Trends’ produced by Dream Well Writing.
Brendan went on to say,
“It’s going to be a great weekend of family literary events.
Come and join us.
Say hello, buy a book or two!
See you there!”
