Set design and props : Considering the relatively small stage, the space was well utilised and designed. Props were also very well utilised with multiple purposes, for example the use of a piano. The ability to showcase football matches with a football on a stick and fishing rod was very entertaining and funny.
Audio and visual : The use of Aston Villa well known songs/chants was done well during the show, encouraging Villa fans in audience to join in the singing/chanting. The use of lighting was relevant and set the mood for the performance. The playing of the piano during the show was good, i didn’t realise until later in the show that the piano was being played live.
Paul Hunter : I thought Paul did a good performance telling the story from his personal point view during the time Aston Villa won the European Cup. There were many funny moments and references to certain members of the Aston Villa team portrayed in a funny manner.
Support cast : I thought the support cast did a very good job in particular controlling the puppet, adding to the overall performance with dancing and energy.
