The second workshop in our new winter series on the poetry, style, context and technique of four poets from history. Each month Rick will lead you through a deep-dive into the poet, their writing style, and the key attributes of their lives that has shaped their work. You will get to learn about the poet, read some examples of their work and write a poem or two in the style of that poet. This month, we are looking at John Masefield, the second longest reigning poet laureate no less!
This workshop series is for experienced poets, or poets with a good understanding of writing poetry who want to develop specific skills in writing form poetry. Only suitable for adults (+16yrs). The workshop is on Tuesday the 18th of February, 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm, and costs £5.
