I would like to recommend GWB Horticulture, especially with regard to tree surgery and hedge trimming. They do a very good job, appear on time (weather permitting) and are pleasant to deal with. Other tasks around the garden are also undertaken and I've been satisfied with their work.

Gareth and his team have been looking after my mother's garden for nearly a year. unable to cope with the demands of such a large garden, it had turned into a jungle. GWB have done a couple of jobs for me - a rather bespoke gate installation and fencing project and also pollarding a very large ash tree. Gareth and his team have transformed our garden from a muddy, overgrown and dreary place to a key feature of our home. They worked tremendously hard throughout some very harsh weather and we are delighted with the results. So much so that I have gone from having no interest in gardening to growing our own vegetables in 4 vey well constructed raised beds. The pond has been transformed into a central feature. Gareth and Jack have done a tremendous job with my garden. Totally transformed it and it looks amazing. They take great pride in their work and are extremely knowledgeable. The best gardeners I have ever seen! I now use them for maintenance work every few months. I dont have a back garden entrance so they had to take all the debris back through my house and left my house clean and tidy without a leaf in sight. A job very well done!

Gareth Broad - GB Horticulture - has made us a wonderful Italian Garden, with a beautifully laid terrace of brickwork and a splashing fountain, edged with a bank of attractive plants and small trees behind a low retaining wall. The craftsmanship is first class, and Gareth's attention to detail from the first planning stage to the last day on site is the reason why it is first class. He and his fellow workers are unfailingly friendly and polite, punctual and hard working: totally reliable. GBH have also pruned trees beautifully for us with the same excellence of service.

Proper professional gardening advice is given and implemented and costings provided upfront. Gareth or a member of his team visit each month to provide ongoing maintenance of the gardens and it makes such a difference. We have about 2 acres of garden which, we keep as a beautiful area but also as a wildlife haven. GWB Horticulture is the first compny which has understood our goals and is working with us to achieve. His people are self motivated and hard working and even after only one year's effort the improvement in the look and the the development of the garden is marked. The more formal part of the garden near the house are also much improved. I would recommend GWB strongly.

We have a very elderly aunt, who lives in Bishops Stortford......and since her husband died, ten years ago, the garden had become very neglected and overgrown. We invited Gareth and his team from GWB Horticulture to take a look at her garden ( both back and front) and see what could be done!
Well, needless to say we are so pleased with all aspects of their work, and found Gareth and his team to be hard-working and articulate, very friendly, trustworthy, yet very professional. They still continue to maintain her garden, and cut the grass, etc. every few weeks, at reasonable rates. Now my aunt has a gorgeous outside space to enjoy! Gareth and his lads have done a fantastic job in our large front garden clearing, tidying & weed control of a large gravel drive. They are hard-working, cheerful and knowledgable. They have dug the ground in preparation for hedge laying around the vegetable plot in amazingly quick time. Gareth has excellent vision of what can be achieved within a range of budgets for ongoing maintenance and one-off projects.

When a large limb split off an old ash tree and was left hanging precariously over a public footpath bordering our garden I contacted Gareth on the recommendation of a neighbour. He came at very short notice, worked with his team to make the tree safe and left the garden tidy with a good few logs for the wood-burner.I will definitely use Gareth again.
