2012 is set to be a busy – and patriotic – year for the UK, with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and of course, the Olympics.
And local residents are set to enjoy a fantastic array of local events with Bishop’s Stortford’s Summerfest – a season of fun for everyone!
Taking place between May and October, Bishop’s Stortford Town Council will be showcasing the many events that are being organised by local groups for our community. Whatever your planned event, if it appeals to the general public, the Council wants to know about it!
A program will be distributed to 10,000 homes, as well as local businesses and venues, and will also be found at the town’s Tourist Information Centre. The first edition will be distributed during the first week of April 2012, so if you want the Council to consider your event to be listed in the program, you only have until Friday 24th February to download the event registration form or pop into the Tourist Information Centre to pick up a form.
However, if your event is still in its planning stages, don’t fear if you are unable to meet the deadline. With a second edition planned to be published later in the year, you can submit your listing before April 30th 2012.
