Times are tough for everyone at the moment – there’s less disposable cash available and people are going out, taking breaks and eating out less.
So what do you do if you’re a restaurant struggling to survive? Do you continue as you are and hope that things will turn around? Or do you make the decision to do everything you possibly can to take control now?
Bishop’s Stortford steak and fish restaurant, Grill 55 took the proverbial bull by the horns, and asked local graphic design company, Right Angle Design to completely overhaul their branding and marketing collateral. And these efforts have paid dividends; having redesigned the website, corporate identity, retail signage and menus, Grill 55 has seen an incredible 500% increase in its web traffic!
Grill 55 is situated on South Street, Bishop’s Stortford, above a parade of shops, and not many people were aware that it was there. Now, with bright, professional banners, the restaurant gets noticed. Owner, Jamie asked Tony Whitehead from Right Angle Design what they should do to create more business and one suggestion was online booking system, which has now helped fill the Grill 55 at evenings and weekends.
Tony explains, “The restaurant really needed a boost in order to keep going and everything looked grey and wintery. Now, with the new site and advertising, spring has arrived and Grill 55 is alive!”
Yoli and James from Grill 55 commented: “We found Right Angle Design to be extremely professional, friendly and welcoming, giving us the opportunity to pop into the local office to talk over ideas and plans.
“Right Angle Design did a complete rebrand of our logo and website. They came up with a great concept and were able to implement them very quickly.
“Our website now looks modern, slick and professional and the signage outside the restaurant has made finding us much easier.
“Terrific advice, service and result – we would thoroughly recommend them.”
