How does it work?
The secret of Pilkington Activ™ is it's special coating, the dual action process which works in two stages.
Breaking down organic dirt.The coating reacts with ultra-violet (UV) rays from natural daylight to break down organic dirt such as bird dropping, tree or pollen sap.
Washing dirt away; wash the loosened dirt away. Compared with conventional glass, the water dries very quickly, reducing unsightly streaks or marks.

Will my windows still need cleaning?
Pilkington Activ™ reduces the amount of maintenance required however it is unlikely that your windows will never need cleaning – that depends on the type and amount of dirt and the volume of rain the glass in your window receives.
Does it work on cloudy days and at night?
Pilkington ActivT™ needs only a small of UV radiation to activate the coating – so it works even on overcast days and through the night.
