BYPHS provide a roof for young people who really need it. If it was not for BYPHS these young people would be homeless and at risk, this is what makes BYPHS so special. I have seen just how much the staff really care about the young people, it is more than just a job, they work tirelessly supporting them in every way they can. An amazing charity and amazing people who work within it constantly going the extra mile.

Bolton young persons housing scheme are an invaluable service for homeless young people in Bolton and without them so may young people would be street homeless. All the staff are dedicated and truly are passionate about what they do always going that extra mile to help. Keep up the great work :)

I love what BYPHS do to serve the young people at risk in Bolton. To provide a roof for a young person who might otherwise be homeless is fantastic but it is all the other things that truly make it exceptional. The fact that it has an IIP gold award for how the staff are treated. The fact that the staff constantly go the extra mile. The fact that the Director is so generous in her support for others outside the charity but tireless in her actions to make a difference to those in her care - doing sponsored events, telling anybody who will listen how worthy the cause is ... I could go on! I think what really speaks for my personal belief in it is the fact that I have been helping to set up the guardian (patron) scheme for the charity! Oh, and that I will be one of the first 25 guardians myself!

It was a great networking event in a relaxed setting. The young people who spoke were a credit to the organisation and themselves. The food was fab and the young people who cooked it were brilliant. Well done to Maura and the whole team who work so hard to help make an impact and support our young people and guiding them to a brighter future.

This was my 3rd networking event an lunch for The Best Of Bolton & Bolton Young Persons Homeless Scheme, this time put on by 'BYPHS-The Lucas Project'. A good attendance from Members of TBOB & others an Staff at BYPHS, happy to meet few regulars Aswell as new faces!, there was a pleasant atmosphere with good refreshments-made by the staff at BYPHS (that number of people complimented on how tasty an the effort!). Great effort for ALL, Maura Jackson and her team for hosting especially the two youngsters that spoke of their experiences,,"the courage, very heart warming and inspirational!", good to see how it changes lives to so many youngsters in the community (in 14 months so many changes there!) Keep up the good work. Positive input the organisation has in local area helping vulnerable youth get back on track!.

I have known Maura Jackson and Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme for many years and have always admired both its work and principles and Maura's role in leading the charity. It does remarkable work with young homeless people and it's hard to imagine what would happen to them without BYPHS. Maura is a practical, innovative and inspirational leader and it always feels like a privilege to support the scheme and Maura.
