I think it is a fantastic scheme for young people,it has so much to offer and can do so much for young people,it is now expanding with project front door a service that is has been much needed for in the Bolton area for the homeless young people of Bolton.

If it was not for Bolton young person scheme the young homeless people of Bolton would be in dire need of help. I first learned of BYPHS wjhen i moved to Bolton from Mansfield Nottinghamshire and I started to work at Gilead House and i realised that there is not a lot of supported accomodation for young people in Bolton. BYPHS is a big need for the young people of Bolton and if they did not exist and work as well as they do, there would be a lot more young vulnerable people at risk. They are a great service and deserve recognition for the good work that they do for the young vulnerable people of Bolton .

The business as a whole is supportive from top to bottom and realises the importance of giving young homeless people the opportunity to attain a comparitivly comfortable living.
It offers a place were young people can escape street living,meet new people, learn life skills that many of the clients are unknown of and offers an opportunity to look forward and plan for a brighter future.
Although it brings relative solice to the young people, the business doesnt forget one of the key ingredients to why the young people are living in there current predicament and that is there PAST. The workers there try to identify, with obvious input from the young people, the reasons, (such as family breakdowns,drug and alcohol issues, lack of financial awareness) why the young people are in this position, so that it may be tackled so that it enables the individual to move on and away from the cause of their current state.
Without this business many young people would have nowhere to turn and the end result could unfortunately be catastrophic which is why many of us young people are indebted to this business

I think that Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme is a fantastic organisation. The staff are passionate and committed and the outcomes they achieve working with young people are inspiring. The town is incredibly lucky to have such a fantastic organisation working with young people.

Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme incorporates Nightstay and provides support and accomodation to Homeless 16-25 year olds the service they give to these homeless youngsters is invaluable and lifechanging. Young people end up in this situation often through no fault of ther own and the service is so much in demand they have had to turn people away. I feel the work that is done often does not get the recognition it deserves so want to say well done to Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme for the work you do

BYPHS is a scheme that it truly focused on their clients. The staff totally committed to the welfare of the people requiring their support. Maura Jackson goes the extra mile to help and has that rarely experienced, these days, of putting herself in the shoes of the person in need. She is a champion of he young homeless.

Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme is a dedicated hard working organisation. It is a progressive organisation. The quality of support and dedication given to young people is second to none.
I have previous experience of referring young people to this project. The scheme ensures that it recruits a high standard of staff with abilities to offer support and guidance to vulnerable young people. Young people are given the opportunity to build upon existing skills, learn new skills, seek employment , talk through personal issues, be referred to other appropriate agencies when needed.
I cannot speak too highly of this worthwhile service and wish them every success for the future.
