Bolton Wanderers in the Community (BWitC) are the official charitable arm of Bolton Wanderers Football Club (BWFC) committed to using the power of BWFC to inspire, support and deliver positive change. Through intervention, prevention and targeted engagement they create sustainable pathways that transform lives working together to connect people, enabling communities to thrive and succeed.

BWitC’s works toward a vision of ‘A connected Bolton without Disadvantage’.
The mission of the Charity is ‘to use the power of Bolton Wanderers Football Club (BWFC) to inspire, support and deliver positive change. Through intervention, prevention and targeted engagement they create sustainable pathways that transform lives. By working together they connect people, enabling communities to thrive and succeed.’
As a charity they provide services in line with the Start Well, Live Well and Stay Well initiatives promoting positive chances and supporting residents of our town to make steps toward a positive future. Working across Health, Wellbeing, Community Cohesion, Social Inclusion, Education Intervention and Skills and Pathways their team work with residents from 0-65+.
Connecting Communities:
Alongside their daily delivery services they host a range of events and activities to not only raise awareness of the work their charity does but to connect local businesses and charities to benefit the town. Their events also raise vital funds for not only their work across Bolton but local charities and organisations across Bolton.
