All the staff contributed to make this a great weekend family visit to Bolton Whites hotel, we all had a great time and the hotel and rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food and service were fantastic as well.

We recently held a Charity event at the hotel. The organisation was first- class and helped the evening to be a great success

Where else can you stay that provides such an amazing view over a football pitch. I stayed for a single night prior to a business meeting. Check in was quick and efficient. I had selected to stay in a corner pitch view room, thus the great views. The WiFi was really strong, which is always a bonus for a business traveller. The decor is a little dated, but the room was spacious and very comfortable.

This is a modern hotel attach Bolton Wanderers Football Club. It has comfortable and clean rooms, with a decor that fits the modernity. The restaurant had a good selection of dishes and my food was tasty. The wine list was so-so but the bottle of Sauvignon Blanc I had with the fish was good.

Arriving at the hotel after a long journey, late into the night,I found the stadium easily enough but the lack of obvious signage meant an external and unplanned tour of the arena. The reception staff who greeted me was a nice, personable young chap made me feel welcome at the hotel. Arriving after 11pm, having missed evening dinner, I found the small selection of 'night food' too heavy - a simple sandwich would have been sufficient but instead, I had to go without - my choice, not the hotel's. The hotel itself was clean and luxurious and the bed comfortable. I had no complaints about the utilities either.

The cost of the overnight is comparible with others, except that this was teh first hotel I stayed at in a long time, which makes an additional charge for breakfast; £69 for a night with an additional charge of £12.50 for a breakfast makes this an expensive sleepover. If the company is paying for the stay and convenience is key then it's a good place to stay, otherwise, it'd make sense to look around locally for somewhere a little more cost-effective.

I visit family in Horwich regularly and Bolton Whites is always my first choice. It ticks all the boxes for us - a decent rate, room, & friendly & professional staff. Adam & his Team do a great job of not only providing a welcoming atmosphere in the bar/lounge but also looking after all guests superbly. We have whiled away many a pleasant hour being looked after so well. Here's to the next time & thanks to all.

Just ate in the restaurant and enjoyed great attentive service and delicious food. The fish and chips were “healthy” and made a refreshing change.
Decor and atmosphere was just right
Would recommend. 👍

Although the hotel was adequate for our trip, I was expecting a little more. Thermostat in the room was not working and although there were two small radiators, the room was cold. Only one small bottle of drinking water for two people and the towels were very rough.
Minor points I know, but not what you pay for a so called deluxe room.

Stayed here for one night as visiting the area for a funeral. This was our second visit (we stayed again because of the quality of the first visit) and we were not disappointed. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The bathroom was also very good. Staff were friendly and everywhere was very clean. It is good to have such a range of places to sit in the hotel as well. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on that

Stayed here as a school group, with 7 staff and 35 primary aged children for a local competition. The hotel staff were helpful and pleasant. The breakfasts were lovely. Lots of space as this is a big hotel and easy to patrol as we were all on one floor. We all liked the rooms: spacious, clean and very comfortable beds.

We stayed here because it is conveniently attached to the stadium in which we were attending a function.
Our room, was clean, quiet and a good size. We managed to flood the bathroom because the shower screen did not fit properly. The staff at check in and check out were efficient and friendly.
Breakfast was fine, the staff worked hard to clear tables and what I had was nice but at the peak time they struggled to keep up with the hot food and drinks.
Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

What a friendly and welcoming team of staff. Stayed just for one night ... managed to use the spa area twice which was lovely and relaxing. Reception staff and John the concierge couldn’t do enough for you. room was spacious and clean ... Breakfast was varied and delicious and the team obviously all care massively about providing a fantastic customer service. From everyone to the hotel manager, the concierge, reception, leisure and cleaning staff ... nothing was too much trouble zzz thank you

A good event spoiled by security staff insisting guests return from the event function room to their bedrooms by having to walk outside in the cold and damp to the main entrance. Not good when people are dressed in evening wear with no coats with them. That is the reason for the poor service rating as the rest of the service from other staff was very good.

You’re requested review and to assist continuous improvement We can always improve but given the logistics of the function you did well

Your concierge John was particularly helpful and deserves recognition for his customer service.

An enjoyable overnight say. Friendly and helpful staff.the food provided by Heathcote's for our Grand Ball was of a very high quality. There were six hundred diners and everyone was served quickly and in a very polished manner

Stayed at weekend whilst visiting family. Suite was average size, very clean and comfy bed, bathroom very large with a bath and walk-in shower, loads of fluffy towels and toiletries. Bottled water supplied, and dressing gowns. Room was quiet and we had a good nights sleep. Buffet breakfast with everything you desire, very nice. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed one night whilst attending a family funeral in Bolton. The hotel is nice and modern and the room was spacious and very clean. The seating areas in the hotel are comfortable and nice to sit in. We did not eat at the hotel as we went elsewhere so I cannot comment on the food/drinks etc. Staff were ok and everything from checking in to checking out went smoothly. Would stay again if in the area.

As stated previously, the rooms are ready for a makeover but I’m assuming that this will be in the pipeline. I totally loved the swimming pool and sauna. Breakfast on the first day was terrific.

The biggest asset that the hotel has is its staff, they are amazing. I have read reviews where people had problems but, seemingly, it looks like those guests did not speak to the staff regarding their concerns.

I had a couple of issues, which the staff remedied with professionalism and compassion. All the staff at Whites Hotel, for me, has set the high bar for customer service and the business should be proud of them.

Ideal for one or two nights in Horwich/Bolton area. Location is excellent, food in restaurant/bar pretty good for an hotel, easy car parking. Very quiet at weekends when no football on at stadium. Would use it again

Staff were brilliant and noticeably friendlier / more helpful than a lot of hotel employees from other English hotels. Stadium view room was amazing. Not an incredibly luxurious room but it was clean and view alone was worth it.
Food was good and plenty of space in the bar.
Good venue all round.

As a family of 4 adults and 2 children we enjoy staying at White Hotel due to the comfort of watching the football from the hotel room. The cost of the extra adult tickets isn’t in proportion to watching the game though as for £35 you could watch a premier league game. Family room was lovely in size but the sofa bed for the children wasn’t comfortable enough due to the bar running under their backs. The leisure facilities were good as was breakfast.

Great staff, fantastic facilities. If attending an event, staying here is a must!

Stayed here for an event at the football stadium. Breakfast was excellent value, plenty of parking and staff cannot do enough for you. Will definately be back.
