The landing window comprised a set of six windows with original stained glass designs has been in situ since the house was built. Even though the panes were double-glazed recently, water still came in through the frame and around some of the panes. I was reminded regularly that if I did nothing about the window, it would fall out of it own accord. I accepted a tender from G M Windows & Doors to replace it including a modern repetition of the stained glass designs. On Monday two men came to replace the window. They arrived as stated about 8.30 am and spent a couple of hours removing the old window. After a short break, they set the new frame in place and fixed the glass panes. The job was completed by lunchtime. They cleared the mess left after removing the old frame and broke none of the old panes. I am delighted with the job. The window looks super, letting in more light than the old window, and the stained glass is a pleasure to look at. It gives me great pleasure to look at the window. The men were pleasant, not given to chatting and just got on with the job. I would happily give this firm a job again.

Superb service from start to finish for some double glazed integrated blinds. Fast, courteous service and I consider great value for money. Product and fitting arrived well ahead of estimate and fitting was very speedy. Guy that fitted windows was incredibly efficient and very courteous (and it was a Friday afternoon!)
We’re going to be looking at having the windows and porch windows done at front of house next year and will not hesitate to contact G M windows again. It’s great to find good, honest tradespeople! Highly recommended. 👍👍👍👍👍

G M windows and doors are absolutely fantastic. They have a great range of doors on offer with speedy responses and a very professional manner. They offer a 25 year guarantee with the doors. George came out and arrived on time to measure the door and helped adjusting the doorframe whilst out to measure my jammed door, for the quote. I would recommend them to any and all friends. I look forward to purchasing all my doors and replacing windows with G M windows and doors in the near future.

G M Windows supplied 3 bedroom windows. A thoroughly professional job with good communication from George throughout the process. Matt & Leo, the fitters covered all flooring, and did a splendid job, clearing up afterwards to the extent you would have not known a job had been undertaken. Their expertise is obvious and I would have no hesitation in recommending them in the future.

Our new doors are brilliant, we are so happy with it! It's literally night and day. The installation team (Callum and Declan - the 'dream team'!) were super cheerful and polite! They cleaned up everything after the installation and were very efficient. Time will tell about the durability, but we can already tell it's quieter, stronger, and there is no draft coming from the outside. George himself kept in touch with us regarding our chosen product, quote, and installation, and made sure we are happy with the door suppliers. GM-WD are a truly reliable company, and with NO HARD SELL, something we had a bit of a problem in the past with other companies.

We used GM windows for a new composite front and back door, and 7 new windows with frames. The quote provided was very reasonable and £1000 cheaper than a like for like quote I received. The fitters were absolutely fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with the finished product.

George came within the week of contact to conduct a survey and was very knowledgeable about the products on the market, giving the pros and any cons of each product but did not push any sales whatsoever. He was clearly really passionate about his business which came across when meeting him, and was one of the deciding factors for me. He then provided a very reasonable quote which was over £1000 cheaper than a like for like quote I received. The quote was very comprehensive and included a breakdown of the cost, including a full description and visuals of each product ordered. The doors both came with one of the best locks on the market which was a bonus. Kelly was fantastic in facilitating some alterations to the quote.
Matt and his apprentice Leo came to fit the windows and were great. They were on time each day and were straight into the job. Matt is a very experienced fitter and took a great deal of pride in his work, ensuring the highest quality fit. I couldn't be happier with the service provided and couldn't recommend these guys enough.

The team from GM Windows and doors organised, supplied and fitted a new half PVC panel, half window back door with cat flap for us. The process was flawless with an initial visit from George to check the requirements and dimensions followed by the guys fitting the door about 5 weeks later. The work was carried out efficiently over one day with the site being tidied up on completion. The door fits perfectly, looks great and, importantly, the cat is ecstatic with her new found freedom.
