Had a lovely 2 night stay for a wedding. Pleased to have a room upgrade which worked really well for us. Rooms were nice with comfortable beds and decent showers. Breakfast was amazing, something for everyone, chef also made pancakes for our children specially. Staff very attentive, great customer service. Special thanks to Alpesh who was very helpful to us all throughout our stay.

Both myself and my wife recently stayed at this hotel, I am going to leave a review that in my opinion is fair and reflects our experience during a 4 day stay there . The Hotel is tired, It needs some serious attention to floors walls and ceilings , Ok that's the elephant in the room out of the way. Over to the rest, The service levels are second to non , Sorry if I get any names wrong , but I will give their titles so it may help when they read it , Rafik General Manager, you sir are an absolute Diamond , the way you helped with a little girl with autism is way above and beyond , I am sure you are actually identical triplets, because you were everywhere, What a manner you have when dealing with the public , 5 star hotels should send their managers to you for training , The Breakfast Manager, ( Dipak apologies if wrong) so attentive, just made the mornings faultless and your breakfast was amazing , I highly recommend the breakfast , I've stayed in a lot of hotels , your breakfast is in my top 3 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.Nicola wedding organiser ,absolutely finger on the pulse , well done , oh and the roast beef with the meal , Stunning. It's a great venue for a wedding. On a whole it's The Staff that make this hotel special., everyone we met were just delivering a fabulous experience, very very good level of service.

Very nice rooms, staff very friendly & food very good. Hotel 12 min walk from bus/train interchange, there are bus stops round the corner from hotel with plenty of buses going back to the interchange.

Very neat room, and the location is great. It's close to several shopping malls, Bolton Market, and Bolton University. I also got a fantastic deal using trivago.com to book the room.

Apart from being too near a main road everything else about the place is really great. The staff, the rooms, the bar and the breakfast all fantastic.

Parking is really tight and you have to pay for the parking even if you have booking for the night.
Dont use the EV charger at hotel as its way too expensive, I charged my car it added 80 miles and charged me £16.49 !

Hotel is always welcoming and clean. Food is good. Breakfast is always pleasant with Dipak and his team who are very attentive. Dipak always remembers that I drink green tea, even if it has been a while between my visits and he always makes me a pot and brings it to my table, that special touch.

I always stay in Holiday Inn Bolton center during my business trips. Location is good, staff is Friendly and I can charge my car in the facility.

Came for work training close by. All staff and atmosphere feels like home from home.
Rooms are great and clean as always. The cleanliness Never changes here its all high standards
Food is always lovely and fantastic would recommend the salt and pepper squid (starter) as i have had that for the last 3 yrs since coming here with work.
Dipak and Team can never do enough for you. They always check on you and make sure you have what you need and always ask if you want help.

Had a great stay here for the Ironman 70.3 weekend. The room was really spacious and very comfortable and great location for the Ironman finish. The kids really enjoyed it and Alpesh was a firm favourite. The pancakes definitely helped. He was really welcoming and always going the extra to make the stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay again.

Although not staying at the hotel I have been using the public area over thr past few weeks to meet with business colleagues and have various online meetings.
The service from start to finish has been first class and one of the friendliest hotels I've had had the pleasure to use over the years.
Particular note of thanks to Lucy and Jane, and the manager Deepak who made me feel so welcome, despite not actually staying at the hotel... a big thanks to you all.

Comfy beds, exactly as advertised unlike @travelodge who give false info on the website!! You pay a bit more with Holiday in but then you understand why when you wake up the next day.

Over the last week, we had the joy of celebrating my brother’s big fat Indian wedding at the Holiday Inn Central Bolton — and what an incredible, unforgettable experience it was.
From the moment we arrived, Alpesh was right there, doing what he does best — taking care of everything and everyone with a calm confidence and a kind heart. He wasn’t just helping with logistics; he was connecting with people. Busting jokes with the aunties and uncles, making every guest feel at home, and even gently guiding our elders across the dining room at breakfast each morning, hand in hand.
Alpesh is the perfect example of what hospitality should be — warm, genuine, attentive, and joyful. And the most amazing thing? I remember Alpesh from 10 years ago when I stayed at the same hotel for my cousin’s wedding — and he hasn’t changed a bit. Still that same incredible energy, still treating every guest like family. He’s a treasure.
But it doesn’t stop there.
A huge shoutout to Simon and the rest of the Holiday Inn Bolton team — honestly, what a crew. No job was too big, no question too small. Simon led the charge and somehow made it all feel stress-free, even with all the moving parts of a full-scale Indian wedding. The team worked like a well-oiled machine — always present, always smiling, always ready to help.
From room arrangements to last-minute tweaks, breakfast chaos to evening coordination — they handled it all with such grace and professionalism, we could actually enjoy the celebration without worry.

Very close to town centre and easy to get too. Good choice of food and the staff are very helpful

Went to a wedding here. Really lovely venue and the staff were wonderful, catering was excellent.
The rooms were bright, clean and well decorated, however wouldn't want to stay here for an extended stay as they do not have much by the way of storage space for hanging up/putting away clothes. It was also very noisy, of course there was a wedding on but, we also had the misfortune of being very close to the lifts and in the morning the cleaners were talking incredibly loudly in the corridor quite early for a Sunday.
Also had buffet breakfast here, which was excellent, a good range and cooked to perfection.

We recently stayed with a tour party. Friendly, welcoming hotel. Clean rooms, good service and tasty food. The staff worked incredibly hard considering the many guests. From housekeeping, maintenance, bar staff and serving staff - their warmth and hospitality made all the difference to our stay.
