I stayed in the Holiday Inn Bolton in May 2023 and again in June. The purpose of my trip was to attend training at Emma Coates Aesthetic Training in Bolton in skincare. I would have given the rooms five star if there was air con. It was very warm and stuffy in the room, especially during the humid weather in June. The staff are friendly and the evening meals are decent.

Good accommodation well priced. Well positioned, friendly and efficient staff, clean and comfortable accommodation. Rather warm in the dining room due to the expanse of glass window.

For me it was just an 8 but if your used to stay in dubai or whatever dont go there. haha everybody who was working a the hotel was very friendly and i mean really everybody. The room was clean what is for me the most importnat thing. The breakfast was very good and fresh. The crew of pink the singer was also staying in the hotel and they were also happy to stay there because of the bar which is open till late whit reasonble prices. So yes i was happy. I couldnt open my window but my father was able to do so its not in every room i guess.

Staff were pleasant but didn’t seem informed re bike storage or breakfast time on Iron Breakfast was good plenty of choice. The restaurant food was average. It was the same menu for lunch as it was for dinner in the evening. The menu didn’t change for the 3 nights we were there. We were told there was not a drinks menu as they had changed their products.

Comfortable Stay, albeit no aircon in the room The room was nice and clean and modern everything you could need for an overnight stay. Bed was comfortable slept well and the WIFI was really good. Parking wasn't an issue ,plenty of space The room didn't have aircon. Apparently its being undergoing a major repair. I received a message from the hotel after I booked and paid for the room. They did provide fans ,fortunately I didn't have to use due to the room being a comfortable temperature, also the fans are quite noisy. I don't believe this issue is reflective in the price since the room was £99

Great location for the centre of Bolton, just not sure why you’d want to use the centre of Bolton. Only reason I was there was for Ironman UK, where it’s location to the finish line make it ideal
