Stayed here for 3 nights with my partner to visit my brother who moved to Bolton last year for Uni. Arrived at 7.30pm on the Friday night, greeted warmly by reception staff and told we were 'guests of the day' and had received a free room upgrade and complimentary drinks! What a lovely surprise as the room had a huge comfy super king bed and not just biscuits but a twirl chocolate bar đ. Also bottled water, tea and coffee. Shower was large and had great water pressure. Rooms clean and all the cleaning staff lovely... always asked if we needed anything. Breakfast was tasty and plenty to choose from. Overall every member of staff that we came across was friendly and nice, and would definitely come back here again, keep up the good work and thank you for a great time!

Did the job for a weekend but the hotel itself lets the staff down. The best thing about this place was the people.
Staff were excellent, genuinely friendly and helpful. Good shower.

Work site visit in Bolton, first time to the city / townâŚ. Hotel was easy to find, car parking on site two options one underground (pretty tight spaces) one above the entrance.
Room was a refurbished room, bathroom clean but remarkably small as in you had no chance of your bigger than a 36âwaste between the door and vanity unit!!!
Shower was hot and strong, the bed was comfortable and all clean so overall ok.
The not so great bits and hence a three not a four star,
Bar area, cold most drinks not available and the only draft larger is Stella (not for me) ordered a cider with ice, then to be told no iceâŚ.. really??
Restaurant, itâs a big open area, be mindful of you sit near the windows itâs cold, or it was when I stayed on the 20th April, the food was mediocre, almost too cooked but given itâs a limited menu, itâs what you get, chicken wings where tasty, not convinced on the spicy sauce that was added, fish and chips for the main, fish had clearly drowned in the fat / fryer it was cooked inâŚ.đŁ
If itâs a cheap hotel in Bolton your looking for then give it a try, if you want to try and show off to someone, try elsewhereâŚ.

Exceptional
Absoloutly brill ,Austin was great,felt like I had my own chef,and Depack couldn't do enough for us .waitresses very good.It felt friendly ,and wellcoming.on receptionist was not the first time we've been and it wouldn't be the last.THANKS everyone.gwyn&mel.

Good choice & will stay there again if price is right
Staff really helpful & friendly. Room, clean & tidy altho could have done with a little more space in the bathroom. Breakfast good 2 out of 3 days Near to town centre Good car parking

We stayed 5 nights and I would stay here again. The staff were very friendly and helpful; we were a bit cold one night so they gave us a portable radiator the next day to keep us toasty. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and never ran out. Beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. Parking was easy with an underground option, but also another one at the top. We ate twice in the evening at he hotel, and enjoyed both meals. The staff really made the stay for us.

We love the Holiday Inn
The room was perfect for myself and my daughter. The beds were comfy and clean. It felt homely. The breakfast was beautiful and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
