Very average hotel with very average food in a rather out of the way location. Wouldn't really recommend unless you have reason to be nearby in Bolton

Lovely staff. Stupid expensive breakfast. Eleven quid or fourteen if you book it on the day? Who pays that? Nice room. Free parking. Stupid price for breakfast. Is that normal? I'm hungry.

I use the gym facilities there. Although they are not great they are good for what I use them for. Machines a bit out dated and the jacuzzi as of 2 days ago was still not working after 2 weeks of it being reported.

I stayed last night with 3 of my friends,we came for a relaxing spa, reception lady was welcoming and checked us in quickly, rooms was spotless and beds really comfy after taking are things to are rooms we went down to ask if we get a gown, slippers and a towel as we had booked for a spa break ,was told no as they have none left so had to take are towels from are room instead,we first got into the jacuzzi which was cold,we was told it was broke,we got out and got into the pool so we couldn't really relax,we stayed in the pool for around 15 minutes and decided we would go and change for dinner, when we went for dinner their was no one to greet us and we seated are selves, soup was lovely, main course was fish and chips which was very greasy, dessert apple crumble wasn't nice at all,sat in the bar for half hour ,staff was very miserable,we decided to go back to are rooms and have an early night (9.30pm)slept well, mattresses was really comfy, breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from, was only one table left when we arrived for breakfast which was next to the hot drinks at the entrance of the dining hall, which I had to keep moving for others to get hit drink and it was far to hot in there maybe in this weather a windows could be opened a little
