The sixth annual National Apprenticeship Week takes place between 11th and 15th March and is designed to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, business and the economy.
With this in mind, leading North West apprentice provider, Alliance Learning is holding an open evening on Tuesday 12th March and is inviting young people, their parents and interested businesses and organisations along to the event, which will be held at their Head Office based at . . .

"Quality apprenticeships such as those offered by Alliance Learning are highly valued by employers and young people,” says Steve Whitehead, CEO of Alliance Learning, “As they provide an opportunity to earn and learn at the same time, offering real
opportunities for young people to get into employment and quickly climb the career ladder.”
Ashley Morton, pictured, is a case in point; his apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering with Alliance Learning allows him the opportunity to travel around the UK, Ireland and Germany to complete additional training whilst studying towards a HNC.
Combining study with employment at Krones UK has certainly paid off for Ashley. He was not only crowned Electrical Engineering Apprentice of the Year 2012, he also came away with the Alliance Learning Apprentice of the Year 2012 at their recent awards evening, which is a great achievement for someone who is still only 22 years of age.
As you might expect, Ashley has big plans for the future. He is hoping to move into a more senior or managerial role after becoming a fully skilled engineer with Krones UK. His employer, Paul Hughes said “Ashley has not only exceeded our expectations but given us the confidence to expand our Apprentice programme”. He went on to say that “Ashley had further endorsed their faith in Apprenticeships proving what can be achieved with the right candidate”.
Apprenticeships are available in a wide range of exciting sectors including Business & Professional, Childcare, Health and Social Care and Engineering.
If you, or someone you know, is interested in finding out more about apprenticeships provided by Alliance Learning, then give them a call on (01204) 689592, or pay a visit to the Open Evening.
