As part of the weekend of Diamond Jubilee celebrations The Barlow, Edgworth Is planning a spectacular Union Jack Flag Challenge.
At 5.00pm on Sunday 3rd June hundreds of local children, wearing either a red, white or blue T-shirt will gather together on Edgworth cricket ground where they will be organised into the shape of the Union Jack.
The kids will then lie down and an aerial photograph will be taken.The special souvenir T-shirts which cost £8 each can be ordered from Turton & Edgworth Primary School on 01204 852932 or organiser Jo Leary 01204 852915 . Adult sizes also available. But hurry orders need to be in by 23rd May.
Everyone is welcome to join in to help make this unique event a huge and memorable success for young and old alike.
