Here's another success story from Bolton’s leading tendering company, Thornton and Lowe, who have secured a £4 million pound contract for a Manchester based company.
They have helped building contractor DH Welton obtain a contract with Cheshire East Council to build new homes and refurbish old ones, maintain gardens, renovate sports and play areas, install and upgrade flooring and construct new extensions, amongst other things. The contract will run for a minimum of 3 years, but it could be extended after the final year for a further 12 months.
This isn’t the first time Thornton and Lowe have helped DH Welton secure a contract. They secured them a contract with United Utilities, and Thornton and Lowe have been supplying the company with guidance and tender writing support since 2010.
Thornton and Lowe also have big expansion plans for the future. They currently have 8 staff but want to hire 4 more very soon. They are based in Bolton, but work with companies in Wales, Scotland, Yorkshire and Manchester. Their growth is partly due to tendering bids often being frustrating, competitive and they take up a lot of time. It is now big business as more and more organisations are using tender services to buy services and work.
Dave Thornton, a director of Thornton and Lowe, said their expansion plans shows the commitment of their staff, and, despite the uncertain economy, businesses can access funding to secure their future and growth.
Thornton and Lowe are one of Bolton’s leading tendering services. It provides public and private sector clients with a wide range of tender services, including bid writing, pre-qualification questionnaires, procurement support and much more.
