Bolton 2 Blackburn 1
Big Sams shadow was well and truly blasted out of the Reebok yesterday.
Everything the man has done for Bolton will never be forgotton but yesterdays grit and determination by 10 men Bolton showed everyone how far we have come.
Individually we were not has sharp as we have been over recent months, but what is pleasing is that we are scoring by players all over the park.
Muamba and Holden grabbing the spoils for Bolton when Mark Davies got a second bookable offence and off he went with only 55mins gone.
The jeers round the Reebok aimed at Clattenburg were deafening but there was nothing he could do as Davies already had a yellow from a earlier challenge.
A fantastic 24,471 turned up at the Reebok and the first half was nothing to writre home about.
When Muamba opened the scoring for Bolton we had a game on, Blackburn threw everything at Bolton and got the equalizer from (on loan from Man Utd) Diouf.
Barely had the smirk of the equilizer on Big Sams face gone back to munching his chewing gum, when Bolton went route one old fashioned long ball and to the roars of the crowd our adopted American banged the ball into the net.
The scene was crazy, never have I seen the stern face of Robinson so happy has he dived on his fellow players to celebrate a great goal.
My only moans, were did the 4th official get 6mins extra time from? and Petrov needs to show abit more respect and stop spitting his dummy out. More players want a game and football is a team game and we are doing just grand at that.
So Petrov do not upset the apple cart your a great player but its not all about you.
But all in all another win for the superwhites and next up is hard task away to Sunderland.
