Become a Volunteer at Ironman UK Sunday 16th July 2017
IRONMAN UK returns to Bolton on the Sunday 16th July 2017 and we need your help to once again make it the country’s premier triathlon event!
This is massive sporting event for the North West with over 2,500 athletes taking part in the grueling one day endurance event which will see competitors from across the globe start with a 2.4 mile swim in Pennington Flash, cycle a 112 mile route through Rivington, Chorley and Adlington, and finish with a marathon in Bolton Town Centre.
Everyone who volunteers has a story to tell, where he or she has somehow made a difference on the day or witnessed something ultra brave, competitive or compassionate. There are plenty of positions available. Volunteers may help at registration, marshal the course, staff food and water stations, get involved in pre and post-race set up – and many more things!

Remember, we provide donations of £200 to clubs who bring 10 or more volunteers, so maybe you have a group that could come together, enjoy the day and raise crucial funds for your club.
