Fairs and Festivals are always a great way to get the local community together in Bolton and the Scarecrow Festival in Blackrod is no exception.
Blackrod Scarecrow Festival is now in its 4th year and last year the efforts from the festival raised over £2,000 for local community projects.
The festival is organised by St Katherines Church and last year saw over 90 scarecrows on display.
If you would like to be involved in this years Scarecrow Festival, a meeting is being held on March 7th at St Katherines Church at 7.30pm.
The event is held in July and is expected to attract 1000's of people to the area
