Stanmore Insurance Brokers have been established in Bolton since 1962 and specialise in providing high quality insurance products for both corporate and personal clients. This time last year, they had just moved into their new offices - an abandoned pub.
It's been a successful year for the insurance brokers. Around the time of the move, they radically changed their strategy and joined networking group Business For Breakfast and ourselves here at thebestof bolton. Not long after, they received national success in our 14 Days Of Love campaign.
Bosses spent £100,000 refurbishing the former White Horse Pub on Little Lever's High Street, making a point to use local tradesmen. The change was prompted after it was decided a change to an open plan environment was much more preferable to their existing warren-like offices in Radcliffe.
Since the move, and the new networking forums, their national cover for children's day nurseries has grown by 30%, and they have employed a number of local firms including Comms Consults and Copy Print Services (both thebestof bolton members also).
