Thrilled students from Bolton College’s skills for independent living department, have received a letter from the Queen.
The students, all of whom experience a wide variety of education and development needs, initially wrote a letter to congratulate the Queen on her Diamond Jubilee. They have now received a personal response thanking them.
Curriculum leader, Suzanne Watson said: “All of the students are amazed that they received a letter from the Queen. It’s a real honour and I’m sure they’ll remember it for a long time to come.”
