The people of Bolton are being invited to vote in an X Factor style voting system on which areas in Bolton they would like to see cleaned up by offenders.
The scheme which sees offenders work as part of Bolton's Community Payback Scheme was launched last year with over 800 people voting to have the Churchgate subway area cleaned up.
Bolton Council along with Boltons Probation Service have now drawn up a shortlist of 5 areas in Bolton which they consider are local spots needing a little Tender Loving Care.
The offenders who are required to take part in the scheme will wear high viability jackets and be visible for residents to see they are taking part in the community payback scheme
