Bolton residents can now use twitter to receive regular information on traffic disruption to any of our local services over the winter months.
Bolton council have their own twitter page and those residents who are following them already are being encouraged to use the site to alert the authorities with any information on roads or any other information affecting any of the services across our borough.
Any information will then be 're-tweeted' by the council to all its followers.
Bolton Council can be followed on twitter and they currently have a following of around 554 followers but give the size of our town, we should support them to really increase their local following as in the long run residents can receive fist hand information which is current and topical and relevant to what is happening across our borough as it happens.
Information which will be available through the Councils twitter feed will be any changes to local services, road and service updates, car parking and any other topical Bolton issues.
