Things are hotting up for Bolton Food and Drink Festival this year with the full line-up of celebrity chefs announced
Mary Berry known as the Queen of Baking will be alongside judge from the ‘Great British Bake-off Paul Hollywood and other celebrity chefs will include French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli, James Martin and Michael Caines all coming to Bolton for what will be the 7th Food and Drink festival the town has held.
This years festival will be held in Victoria Square over the August Bank Holiday Weekend Friday 24th August- Monday 27th August.
Tickets for all the demonstrations will go on sale in June and they are expected to sell out quicker than ever this year as the event attracts people into Bolton from all across the Northwest.
A dedicated marquee for the celebrity chefs' cookery demonstrations will be in Victoria Square. Other highlights of the festival include cookery demonstrations by local and regional chefs at Bolton Market, Ashburner Street and the Market Place Shopping Centre
There will also be a special food and drink street market throughout the event in Victoria Square, selling local produce from as well as regional traders all with goodies to entice shoppers in the town
Organised by Bolton Council, and sponsored by Bolton College and Bluemantle, the festival has grown year-on-year with an estimated 94,000 people visiting in 2011
