Copyprint Services of Bolton are the latest local firm to join the Bolton Hospice 'Play As You Earn' scheme.
The scheme sponsored by another local business thebestof bolton, works a bit like the governments PAYE scheme as employees give to the charity directly from their wages on a weekly or monthly basis and have the opportunity to benefit from the weekly £1000 prize draws.
Bolton's Hospice Lottery, in it's 10th anniversary year, wants to celebrate by signing up ten new businesses to the Play As You Earn Scheme over the coming year and has set a target of 250 new members signing up to the weekly lottery draw during September.
Anyone committing to at least 13 weeks of the weekly lottery during September will be entered into a prize draw to win a fantastic Sainsburys Trolley Dash.
Copyprint Services are the latest in a long list of local businesses, which includes Fieldings Porter, Vertex, The Holiday Inn and The Yorkshire, Barclays, RBS and Nat West Banks, whose employees have agreed to donate £1 per week to support our fantastic local hospice.
John Hynes, Managing Director of Copyprint Services said "even though we are only a small team of seven we want to do our bit by helping Bolton Hospice and what could be easier than donating straight from our wages".
It costs around £3.6 million per year to run The hospice which has 14 in-patient beds and provides extensive day care facilities to many local people. Around £1 million is provided by the Government via NHS Bolton and the balance has to be rasied through various fund raising events including the Hospice Lottery.
Any company wishing to get involved should contact Steve Holt, Lottery Manager, on 01204 663007 or e-mail: lottery@boltonhospice.org or Alice Edmond, Fund Raising Manager, on 01204 663026 or e-mail: director-fundraising@boltonhospice.org.
